The earthquake's day was in the cafeteria of University with my friend. We were eating rice while I were waiting for our last class of day. Suddenly I felt dizzy and I thought it was because last days I hadn´t had time to eat well. Besides, I had slept little last night. But my friend told me to look at the lamps in the cafeteria that was shaking. I thought it was like at other occasions “it moves a little and stops, without major consequences”. I was wrong. The people who worked in the cafeteria told us that we could not stay there, that we had to go down. However when we arrived at the stairs, they were stuck. So we could not get off quickly. I was scared but still thought that the biggest consequence was collective fear. When the earth stopped shaking, people who had not been able to go down during the earthquake, they did it quickly. I tried to call my mom but I couldn´t, there wasn´t signal. Later, UNAM announced that there will be not classes. At that moment I told my friend that we went back home. There wasn´t transport service, so I could go home until service was restored. Finally I arrived at my house and I realized the earthquake´s consequences.
