The State of México
During the earthquake I was arriving at FES Iztacala, I had a meeting with the boss of the clinic, but I was late. So I was getting off the car to enter the FES, in this moment I felt “dizzy”, but I thought it was because I didn’t sleep the last night.
I never thought it would be an earthquake, because in this
day would make a simulacrum in commemoration of the earthquake happened in 85, but it would be at 16:00 Hrs
At the main entrance everyone ran, cried, shouted and some prayed, it was there when I heard several windows breaking and the lamps were moving very strong, and I decided to stay there and stop walking.
The director didn’t authorized us to leave the campus at certain times, and the networks to make calls, messages, etc., were useless and I was very worried about my family, but after a few hours I was able to communicate and all was very well.
But the chaos was in other parts of Mexico City. To return to my house was a big problem because there was no public transport, but my family, my house and I are well.
Good morning Selene.
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed, that earthquake was totally unexpected and I also saw the same on the streets. I think everyone got very scared so did I.
I totally understand that part about the chaos in the city because it was something difficul to me to arrive at homefor the same reason of the public tranport like you said.
It's good to know that you and your family are fine.
Regards.
